Italian Course Meal for Two

4-course vegetarian Italian dinner

With birthdays and anniversaries around the corner, cooking a nice dinner for your loved one is one of the most commonly enlisted ideas on internet. When all possibilities of buying a present or planning  a surprise visit to a dream location seam bleak, one can always grab some ingredients on the way back home and cook. And why not?
Special day or not, enjoying a self-cooked dinner is my any-time and all-time indulgence. And so is Italian cuisine. As they say, there's nothing more romantic than Italian food and wine. Plus, I find it fuss-free and easy to cook.
I did quite some web research to learn about classic vegetarian Italian course-meals and came up with a menu that is appreciably easy to put together and surely won't cost you an arm and leg. Obviously, if you are feeling really motivated, you could even upscale this menu for a small or big party. It's your choice!
I have jotted down a simple but sufficiently elaborate 4-course Italian menu for cook-at-home times and I bet they won't even take so long!

Menu Idea :

Anti-Pasto / Starters : Bruschetta

Primo / First Course : Pomodoro Pesto Pasta
Secondo / Second Course : Parmigiana di Melanzane
Dolce / Dessert : Strawberry Panna Cotta

Bruschetta

Pomodoro Pesto Pasta

Parmigiana di Melanzane

Strawberry Panna Cotta

Brief Meal Plan :
Action 1 : Prepare the Panna Cotta in the morning or the night before and refrigerate.
Action 2 : Prepare the toppings for the Bruschetta first and keep aside.
Action 3 : Prepare the Parmigiana and while it gets baked, finish the first course pasta.
Action 4 : Toast / Bake Bruschetta breads only in the end, right before serving.
